What links Justice and Mercy? While the death and resurrection firmly established historically, are Jesus’s claims that he would be dead for three nights and days factually verifiable? No work to date has demonstrated the textual accuracy of Scripture on this point. Surely his own prophecy to be dead for seventy-two hours is as important as that of his resurrection.
